​The main ‌union at ​Colombia's state-run oil company ‌Ecopetrol, USO, called a 24-hour strike on Tuesday ‌to protest a deadlock ‌in negotiations over the collective bargaining agreement ⁠regarding ​working ⁠conditions, the union said in ⁠a statement.

USO did not ​immediately specify the exact ⁠time the work stoppage ⁠began, ​but workers at the Ecopetrol's ⁠Barrancabermeja refinery told Reuters that ⁠workers ⁠are currently blocking access to the industrial ‌complex.
