Jishnu Dev Varma Sworn In as Telangana Governor

Jishnu Dev Varma, former Deputy Chief Minister of Tripura, was sworn in as the new Telangana Governor. The ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Union Coal Minister G Kishan Reddy, and other senior officials. Varma expressed gratitude to the President and Prime Minister for his appointment.

Jishnu Dev Varma, the former Deputy Chief Minister of Tripura, took the oath of office as the new Governor of Telangana on Wednesday. The swearing-in ceremony was attended by Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and several of his Cabinet colleagues.

The oath was administered by Alok Aradhe, Chief Justice of Telangana, with Union Coal Minister G Kishan Reddy and numerous senior officials present at the event.

Earlier in the day, Varma received a ceremonial welcome at the airport. He thanked both the President and the Prime Minister for his appointment, noting the historic significance of a person from Tripura being elevated to this position for the first time since Independence.
