Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi, in a Monday post, highlighted the plight of Delhi bus drivers and conductors, pointing out their lack of social security, stable income, and permanent jobs. Gandhi shared his experiences during a bus ride in the capital, discussing the daily challenges faced by these workers.
Gandhi also shed light on the financial woes of Home Guards, who have not received their salaries for six months despite their crucial role in passenger safety. He criticized the looming threat of privatization over Delhi Transport Corporation workers, remarking that they live in constant fear.
On Sunday, Gandhi turned his focus to Wayanad, discussing relief efforts following a landslide and the importance of revitalizing tourism in the region. He called for a combined effort to boost tourism once the rains subside to aid local recovery.
