Ukrainian Government in Major Reshuffle Amid Ongoing Conflict
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has resigned amidst the biggest government reshuffle during the 30-month conflict with Russia. More ministerial changes are expected as part of a government 'reset' aimed at strengthening Ukraine's capacity in the face of escalating Russian advances and intensified drone and missile attacks.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba resigned on Wednesday, marking a significant shift in the government amid the 30-month-long war against Russia.
More resignations and new appointments are anticipated as part of a major government 'reset,' according to senior ally David Arakhamia. This move follows the resignation of five ministers on Tuesday.
The changes, endorsed by President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, aim to bolster Ukraine as it confronts Russian advances and increased drone and missile strikes. Lawmakers are set to discuss and vote on the resignations shortly, which is expected to be a formality.
