Farooq Abdullah, the president of the National Conference, issued a stark warning to Arab countries on Monday, suggesting they might soon face threats from Israel and the U.S. due to their valuable oil and gas reserves.
He expressed skepticism about the United States' longstanding policy of preventing Iran from becoming a nuclear power, highlighting the reluctance of Sunni countries to voice their opposition. Abdullah also condemned the media for allegedly spreading false information about conditions for Jammu and Kashmir's statehood restoration.
Meanwhile, Abdullah announced the formation of a human rights wing within the NC, led by retired Justice Hasnain Masoodi, reflecting the party's renewed focus on human rights issues.
