Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, a key Congress figure, delivered a pointed riposte to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's characterization of the Opposition's actions as 'drama' during the Parliament's Winter Session. Chowdhury accused Prime Minister Modi of being the consummate dramatist, asserting that no one could rival him in theatrics.
Prime Minister Modi's comments came during an address urging the Opposition to prioritize productive discourse over discordant theatrics, particularly in light of their recent setbacks in the Bihar elections. He stressed the importance of focusing on impactful legislation rather than electoral slogans.
The Opposition, however, seemed undeterred, with planned discussions on critical issues such as the Delhi blast and worsening air quality. Concurrently, TMC's absence from an Opposition coalition meeting highlighted ongoing intra-party strategizing.
