In a bold rebuttal, Himachal Pradesh BJP president Rajiv Bindal has challenged Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu to hold immediate elections if he truly believes the BJP is divided into factions. Bindal asserts that the election results will clarify the actual strength of the Congress.
Addressing the media in Una, Bindal disputed Sukhu's claim that BJP leaders are split into five factions and make statements to remain relevant in politics. Sukhu has claimed factions align with leaders like J P Nadda and Anurag Thakur.
As the Congress government marks its three-year tenure in Himachal Pradesh, Bindal described it as a period of decline, citing unemployment and lawlessness. He announced that BJP will protest perceived misrule and public distress on December 4 in Dharamshala.
