On Monday, U.S. President Donald Trump made his position clear regarding Hollywood powerhouses Netflix and Paramount Skydance, suggesting they aren't among his favorites. His comments came after the companies placed bids for Warner Bros Discovery.
Trump, speaking at a White House roundtable, admitted to knowing the companies well. He suggested a need to scrutinize their market share before forming a final opinion on the matter.
"I know the companies very well. I know what they're doing, but I have to see, I have to see what percentage of market they have... none of them are particularly great friends of mine," said Trump, highlighting his distance from the ongoing corporate dynamics.
