Stalin Challenges Modi on LPG Shortage and Language Policy

Chief Minister MK Stalin accuses Prime Minister Narendra Modi of causing LPG shortages and criticizes the government's attempt to implement a three-language policy in Tamil Nadu. He challenges Union ministers to declare this policy in their election campaigns, claiming the BJP's governance detrimental to state interests.

In a vehement speech on Saturday, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of creating an LPG shortage crisis. Speaking at an election rally, Stalin questioned, 'Modi ji, where is LPG?' He expressed concern over the BJP-led NDA's policies, alleging they drive the nation towards decline.

Stalin threw down the gauntlet to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, PM Modi, and Amit Shah, questioning whether they would dare campaign on implementing a three-language policy in Tamil Nadu. He called the NDA's 'double engine' a 'failed engine' and argued it should not be allowed entry into Tamil Nadu.

The DMK president criticized the AIADMK-BJP alliance, asserting that it had pushed Tamil Nadu into a pit over its ten-year rule. Highlighting opposition to the National Education Policy 2020's three-language formula, Stalin accused the BJP of linguistic imposition and warned against tying education funds to language policy acceptance.
