Mann's remarks come as Modi appealed for economic austerity given the West Asian crisis and its impact on global fuel prices.
Mann questioned the prime minister's approach, highlighting inconsistencies in policy measures such as advocating for reduced gold purchases and increased use of public transportation, while Modi persists with international engagements. In a related issue, Mann also raised concerns over the transparency of the upcoming Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls in Punjab. He called for a fair process, ensuring no legitimate votes are deleted, and assured vigilance from his party members during the revision.
