Russia's foreign ministry has raised alarms over the deployment of U.S. missile systems on Japanese soil for military exercises, labeling it a threat to its eastern borders.

According to Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, Russia views Japan's allowance of the U.S. Typhon missile systems as a move jeopardizing Far Eastern stability.
