Dmitry Medvedev, Russia's Security Council deputy chair, cautioned European leaders on Friday about the continued presence of drones straying into their territories. This, he said, could prevent their populations from resting peacefully.

This statement followed NATO's allegations of Moscow's reckless behaviour, as they vowed to protect every part of Allied territory. NATO's reaction came after Romania reported a Russian drone crash in an apartment block while targeting Ukraine.

Medvedev challenged the express outrage of European leaders, labeling it ineffective, since they were actively participating in conflict against Russia. He stressed that such drone incidents would likely persist, particularly in areas producing drones for Ukraine.
