Rostov regional governor Yury Slyusar announced on Telegram that fires on the tanker and in Taganrog's port had been extinguished successfully, with no oil spills reported. He mentioned that two individuals sustained injuries. A local state of emergency in the area, first introduced on May 27, remains in effect following recent events.

In the Krasnodar region, authorities in Armavir reported that a fire at an oil depot in the industrial zone had been managed without any injuries. Meanwhile, Crimea saw strikes on its oil depot, furthering the conflict's reach. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy justified these strikes as a rightful response to prolonged Russian aggression.
