Marty O'Donnell, endorsed by former President Donald Trump, won the Republican primary for Nevada’s 3rd Congressional District, a crucial battleground that could influence control of the U.S. House. This seat, currently held by Democrat Susie Lee, is among the key races that may determine Congressional power balance with Republicans maintaining a slim majority.

Marty O'Donnell, supported by ex-President Donald Trump, clinched the Republican nomination for Nevada’s pivotal 3rd Congressional District. This region, part of the greater Las Vegas area, plays a crucial role in shaping the balance of power within the U.S. House of Representatives, according to media predictions.

The primary was marked by a highly competitive atmosphere, featuring several self-funded candidates. O'Donnell, known for his video game compositions, was backed by the Republican campaign arm's MAGA Majority initiative, alongside contenders like neurosurgeon Aury Nagy and ex-U.S. Ambassador to Iceland Jeff Gunter. Businesswoman Tera Anderson also joined the race.
