Senior Congress figure Ashok Gehlot has publicly condemned the irregularities in the NEET (UG) 2026 exam, asserting that these issues have deeply eroded public trust. In a press statement on Tuesday, Gehlot highlighted the concern across youth who are backing measures for change, notably due to repeated paper leaks.

The former Chief Minister of Rajasthan pointed to multiple leaks in exams like SSC and NEET as proof of systemic failures, which he claims the government has ignored. He critiqued the central government for not heeding calls, including those demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharamendra Pradhan.

The NEET examination in question was annulled due to these widespread allegations. Authorities are now working to reschedule on June 21, as part of a broader effort to regain credibility. Measures, including restrictions on Telegram, are in place to mitigate further breaches.
