In a stirring address at the 11th India International Science Festival (IISF), Haryana's Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini called on scientists to extend the benefits of scientific progress beyond laboratories and into the lives of everyday citizens.
Speaking in Panchkula, Saini underscored the crucial role science plays in enhancing agricultural productivity, improving healthcare outcomes, and empowering entrepreneurs. He announced initiatives to bolster research and innovation in Haryana, positioning the state as a beacon of scientific and technological advancement.
Saini acknowledged Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership in making India a powerhouse in science and technology. With over 40,000 participants, the IISF marks a convergence of scientific and innovative energies aimed at transforming India into a self-reliant nation by 2047.
