Mumbai Constable Rescues Python; Indian Giant Squirrels Return to the Wild

In a remarkable act of bravery, a Mumbai police constable successfully rescued a 9-foot-long python from a duct located outside a park in Dharavi. The event was captured on video and quickly went viral on social media, as confirmed by city police.
The giant snake was initially discovered by a worker involved in wire repairs in an internet duct near Dharavi depot. Upon receiving the alert, Constable Sachin More, who boasts training as a snake rescuer, swiftly responded and safely recovered the reptile, handing it over to the forest department.
In another wildlife rescue victory, two Indian Giant Squirrels were released back into their natural habitat after nearly three months of rehabilitation. Despite threats from habitat loss, these state animals of Maharashtra received critical care from the Resqink Association for Wildlife Welfare before being deemed fit for the wild.
