On Tuesday, UKMTO reported that the incident resulted in no injuries to the crew onboard. They also confirmed that there was no environmental impact following the strike.
The UKMTO has not yet identified the source of the projectile, but investigations are ongoing to ascertain the cause and prevent future occurrences.
