Mumbai's New Online Property Mutation Portal Revolutionizes Transparency

Mumbai city has launched a new fully online property mutation portal, eliminating the need for in-person government visits. The platform allows property owners, including NRIs, to transfer property card names and undergo 45 types of property-related changes. Developed by NIC, it enhances transparency and efficiency in revenue services.

Mumbai's residents can now access a fully online property mutation service, as announced by Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule. This innovation eliminates the need for physical visits to government offices.

The newly launched portal, epsitmumc.mahabhumi.gov.in, benefits property owners, including Non-Resident Indians, by allowing them to apply for property card name transfers and other adjustments remotely. Real-time SMS alerts and online status tracking enhance the user experience.

Developed by the National Informatics Centre, the portal offers 45 types of property-related changes. It is a product of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Maharajaswa Abhiyan, focusing on improving efficiency and transparency in revenue services. A help desk at the Mumbai city collector's office is available for technical support.
