Strengthening Disaster Resilience: J&K Partners with UNDP

The memorandum, signed on Monday in Jammu, targets multi-hazard risk assessments and improved disaster management strategies at various administrative levels. The collaboration highlights initiatives such as landslide mitigation, school safety enhancement, and securing funds for disaster risk reduction.

This initiative is aligned with UNDP's National Resilience Programme, aiming to build institutional capacities and foster resilient communities in Jammu and Kashmir, under the guidance of the National Disaster Management Authority.
