Leopard found dead in wildlife sanctuary in UP's Maharajganj
A leopard was found dead in the Sohagi Barwa Wildlife Sanctuary, with officials awaiting the results of a post-mortem to determine the cause of death.

A leopard was found dead in the Sohagi Barwa Wildlife Sanctuary here on Sunday morning, with officials saying the cause of death is yet to be ascertained.
The leopard carcass was found in a field in Vangram Achalgarh (forest village) under Laxmipur range of the Sohagi Barwa Wildlife Division, Forest Range Officer (FRO) Ved Prakash Sharma said.
It was not immediately known how the leopard died, and the body was sent for post-mortem, the official said.
The carcass will be disposed of after post-mortem proceedings as per guidelines of the National Tiger Conservation Authority, he added.
