Pulisic scored an easy goal in the 66th minute, equalizing Dennis Man's early opener for Parma. However, substitute Matteo Cancellieri secured the win for Parma with a goal 11 minutes later, marking a jubilant birthday for Parma coach Fabio Pecchia.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan secured its first win of the season by defeating Lecce 2-0, and Lazio suffered a surprising 2-1 loss to 10-man Udinese. Genoa beat Monza 1-0.
