The Dream League of India (DLI), celebrated as India's premier Tennis Ball Cricket League, concluded its Lucknow trials on November 27 and 28, drawing over 500 attendees from junior and senior categories. The trials took place at Yorker Cricket Club, Sector-6, Pili Colony, near Yash Raj Institute, marking a significant turnout from enthusiastic cricketers throughout Uttar Pradesh.

An analysis of participation revealed a predominant focus on bowling, with approximately 60% representing bowlers and 40% as batters, both demonstrating commendable skill and proficiency. The participants, ranging from Junior (13-18 years) to Senior (18+) categories, exhibited remarkable talent and fierce determination, all vying for positions in one of the six DLI teams.

In his remarks about the trials, Chetanya Nanda, former cricketer and Founder of Dream League of India, said, "Lucknow has exhibited tremendous zeal for cricket. The passion, discipline, and eagerness to excel were apparent from the outset. Uttar Pradesh continues to be a wellspring of cricketing talent, and we take pride in offering DLI's platform in this region. I urge large corporations to support these emerging grassroots players." Reflecting on the high level of participation, Rishabh Bhatia, Founder of Servotech Sports, said, "The enthusiasm of the youth and the backing from senior players fostered a vibrant atmosphere throughout the trials."

DLI stands as the nation's foremost tennis ball cricket tournament, consisting of six competitive teams within junior and senior divisions. Actor Sonu Sood, DLI's League Commissioner, lauded the participants' energy and prompted young players to optimize the grassroots opportunities provided.

Prominent figures like Saleem Merchant and Darshan Kumar's involvement also fortifies DLI's status as a credible platform for aspiring tennis ball cricketers. With successful trials already carried out in cities such as Delhi, Gurugram, Greater Noida, Ganaur, Mohali, and now Lucknow, the Dream League of India persistently broadens its reach, empowering emerging cricketers nationwide.
