Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has made history as the youngest and fastest player to score 1,000 runs in Twenty20 cricket, achieving this milestone at just 15 years old. The prodigious talent smashed a remarkable 36-ball century during an electrifying Indian Premier League match on Saturday.

Surpassing Australia's Mitchell Owen, who completed 1,000 runs in 533 balls, Sooryavanshi's achievement is the third fastest century in IPL history, behind only Chris Gayle and his own previous record. Sooryavanshi hit an astonishing 12 sixes and five boundaries, illustrating his dominance on the field.

Despite the impressive innings helping Rajasthan post 228-6, Hyderabad successfully chased down the target. Both teams are currently in a fierce competition for playoff spots, tied at 10 points, while Punjab Kings lead the table with 13 points after their historic run chase against Delhi Capitals.
