Battlegrounds Mobile India 1.6.0 September Update is here: Whats' new?

The much-awaited Battlegrounds Mobile India 1.6.0 September Update is finally rolling out in India. The update is now available on both Android and iOS platforms, the company announced on Friday.

The September update brings along the new Flora Menace Mode, classic mode improvements, Royal Pass Month 3 and other features. Below are the release notes for the Battlegrounds Mobile India 1.6.0 update:

Flora Menace Mode

Flora Menace Theme Mode is available on Erangel starting today and will expand to Sanhok on September 18th, and finally, Livik on September 22nd. It includes:

• The Rejuvenation Barrier

Alien plants called ‘Yarilo’ will occupy some cities and build a special barrier. Your health will slowly regenerate in the Rejuvenation Barrier when you are not engaging the opponents./p>

• The Dynahex Supply Shop

A special system for the fight against alien forces is coming! Gather ‘Nacores’ on the field and press the button below the mini-map on the right to enter the ‘Dynahex Supply Shop’ where you can purchase diverse items for the battle. You can order advanced items like Groza, Spetsnaz Helmet, and Backpack (Lv.3), and the ordered items will be delivered to your position via supply capsule. 

• The Cell Matrix

There is a Cell Matrix airship in the sky of Erangel. But the Cell Matrix, which used to be the hope of escaping, is now out of control because of intruders.

You must retrieve the Cell Matrix through battle. Cell Matrix appears only in Erangel, and you can enter Cell Matrix through bee-hive-shaped cells spreading across the map.

You can enter the cell only for a certain period when it's activated. Be careful, limited respawn chances are given in the Cell Matrix, and you will have to fight against the infected Cell Matrix Robots and enemies. To mix things up, you must battle with weapons which changes in after a certain period. If your respawn chances expire, you will be shifted to the ground. You can find many ‘Nacores’ in the Cell Matrix and you can also get ‘Nacores’ by defeating the Cell Matrix Robots!

The Cell Matrix Robot

If you go to the location marked as ‘Cell Matrix Robot’ on your mini-map, various robots including those with overwhelming firepower will come out from capsules to attack you. Which is not fun, but defeating them is. Defeating them will give you items, so take it as a challenge and loot items fast!

Additionally, features from the previous Mission Ignition mode, including Riot Shield, Tactical Marking Device, Air Conveyor, ASM Abakan, and Automatic Drop also appear in the new Flora Menace Mode.

VS AI Mode

Livik is under the AI invasion! Team up with your friends and defeat the AI. You can enter Mode: VS AI at the mode selecting screen by selecting the difficulty, and you can play as a squad as well.

Features

Below are the gameplay changes, new strategic options and all-new features arriving with Battlegrounds Mobile India 1.6.0 September update:

Flight Route

Flight route is an important element in predicting the opponents’ positions and establishing a tactic to get you closer to that chicken dinner, and getting to intial loot zones. 

You can now check the flight route which used to be displayed only at the beginning of the game anytime on your mini-map. Check it out by tapping on the ‘Show Route’ button.

Scope Focal Length Adjustment 

You can select either tapping or holding to adjust your scope distance.

Highlights

Death Replay shows how you were finished, and the Highlight shows how you defeated your opponents. Highlight works in the Classic Mode, and you can view the highlights in Match Results, Statistics, and Moments. Share your super plays with your friends.

Improved Combat

Diverse setting options for Players’ convenience is added! Setting UI is also improved.

Hold to Prone

• If you activate ‘Merging Crouching and Laying Prone’ setting at the basic setting.
• Prone key is hidden, and you can crouch by pressing the crouch key and go prone by holding the crouch key.

Sprint Sensitivity

• ‘Sprint Sensitivity’ feature helps you set the level, enable this by moving the left joystick to accelerate your character from the stationary status to sprinting. You can adjust the sensitivity from 0 to 100 at the Basic - Sprint Sensitivity.
• The default value is 50%. The higher the value, the less you have to move your joystick to sprint.

Anti-aliasing Level

• Now you can customize the anti-aliasing settings better! Levels are added to the Anti-aliasing setting, which used to have only On and Off settings. 
• Now, the setting is divided into Off/2x/4x, so you can adjust the levels to the one that fits your device!

Settings

Continuously Use Bandages

• Sometimes, when the battle gets intense, you’ll need to use the bandages you have, continuously. You can now turn it on depending on your HP or manually use them one by one.

Transparent UI Mode in Matches

• Activate ‘Allow Toggling of Transparent UI Mode in Matches’ at the basic setting. Then, you can toggle the transparent UI by tapping and holding the game logo on the top during the match. Although you cannot see them, they are still functioning.To make them opaque again, tap and hold the logo again.

Headshot Sound Effects

• Activate Basic – Headshot Sound Effects. If hit the enemy’s head. Then, you will hear an SFX that sounds like hitting the actual helmet.

Auto pickup Sticky Bomb

• Sticky bomb, which is an essential item in Karakin, is added to the Auto Pick-up. You can set the number of the Sticky Bombs at the Pickup setting.

Balancing

• Durability of UAZ and Minibus is slightly increased. 

Arena Mode

New Weapon

• P1911, FAMAS, and Mk12 are added to the Arena Mode configuration. 

Training Grounds/Cheer Park

• P90, MG3, and ASM Abakan are now added to the Training Grounds.
• With infinite supply of ammo now available in the Training Grounds you can now practice to your heart's content and perfect that spray!

Effect

Frag Grenade Vibration

• The camera vibration at the exploding of Frag Grenade is slightly improved. Share with your friends the enhanced battle experience.

Health Bar

• A slight improvement is made on the health bar to indicate momentary multiple health reduction faster.

Animation

• Firing animation of Deagle has become smoother.
• Character movement is optimized and will become smoother.
• Animation for dropping from the plane or in the air and landing animation are improved.

Universal Mark & Mini-map 

• Distance is added to the Universal Marker voice in the chatting interface.
• Expression effect for “Enemies ahead!” on the mini-map is improved.

Other

• Issue that scope slightly moves horizontally when the character stand up from the crouching position while aiming is solved.

Other: Season C1S2

• Tier growth graph and comparison features are added to the career data.
• rewards and achievements are added.
• overall UI, artwork, and systems are improved.

Buddy Outfit System

• Buddy Outfit System is added. 

Starting later this month, many exciting modes will be available in the game for a limited period of time.

Krafton said that the update is staggered, hence users will have to wait patiently for it to reach their devices. Upon updating to the new version (1.6.0), you will get 2 Classic Crate Coupons in the Event Center as rewards.
