More games and new search feature comes to Google Play Games Beta
Google Play Games beta is getting a new update that brings along more games including Clash of Clans and Clash Royale, a new search feature and support for game controllers.
For the unversed, Google Play Games is a PC application that lets you browse, download, and play select mobile games on a Windows desktop or laptop.
With the latest update, you can now access more than 3,000 games including the hit titles like Clash of Clans and Clash Royale, on Windows 10 and 11 PCs. Google said that Clash of Clans and Clash Royale will roll out to the Play Store on Chromebooks in the coming weeks.

Recently, Google rolled out a new search feature that lets you easily and quickly find what you're looking for. Head over to the "All Games" section, navigate to the search bar at the top and just type in the game you are looking for.
Next up, Google is rolling out console controller support for select games for a more immersive gaming experience. You can now try out Xbox S|X, Xbox One, PS5 DualSense or PS4 DualShock game controller with compatible games including Asphalt 9: Legends and BADLAND.
Google Play Games now offers up to 4K resolution on supported monitors. Additionally, players now have the option to select from a variety of screen resolutions that suit gameplay needs. Press Shift + Tab in any game to see the menu of supported resolutions.
