It has always been a bit exhausting to think geometrically about the world. Because no growth calculation goes on without any residue, and nothing about the person fulfills the formula. Only art occasionally dreams of measure and rule. And the painter Oskar Schlemmer dreamed one of the most wondrous dimensional and regular dreams. Google Doodle is celebrating his 130th birth anniversary.

The iconic Bauhaus staircase from 1931 is Oskar Schlemmer's most famous painting. One wonders why people, not man, not woman, climb the stairs of the building designed by Walter Gropius in Dessau.

In addition to painting and temporary sculpture, his love was for stage work. The retrospective presents the equipment of the dancers of the "Triadic Ballet", which is shown in the form of figurines. The "diver" draped with fabric sausages, the "spiral" clad in a serpentine skirt and the other characters are characterized by carnival qualities. The rigid costumes compel the dancers to marionette-like stiff movements.

Schlemmer's painting, on the other hand, is mostly quiet and enigmatic. Magical apparitions are represented by "Two Women at the Table", sitting in front of mysteriously shining plates and a pitcher sitting in the lost profile.

The world will always remember his great contribution to the Arts and cultural society. Happy Birthday, Oskar Schlemmer!
