At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, barley for September traded lower by Rs 5, or 0.31 per cent, to Rs 1,629 per quintal, in an open interest of 3,920 lots.
Similarly, delivery for October declined by Rs 2, or 0.12 per cent, to Rs 1,668 per quintal, showing an open interest of 5,340 lots.
