Turmeric eases on reduced offtake

Turmeric prices drifted lower by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale kirana market in the national capital today due to reduced offtake by stockists.

Traders said muted demand against sufficient stocks position mainly weighed on turmeric prices.

In the national capital, turmeric fell by Rs 100 to Rs 8,300-10,800 per quintal.
