Small sugar eased further at the Vashi wholesale market here today on lower demand from stockists and bulk consumers. Medium sugar ended mixed trading following alternate bouts of buying and selling activity.

Small sugar (S-30) softened by Rs 3 per quintal to Rs 3,110/3,202 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 3,110/3,205. Medium sugar (M-30) was quoted at Rs 3,216/3,452 per quintal as against Rs 3,220/3,446 yesterday.
