Healthium Medtech appoints Ajay Gupta as Chairman; Namrata Kaul as board member

Healthium Medtech on Wednesday said it has elevated Ajay Gupta as Chairman of the Board and appointed Namrata Kaul as an independent member.

As the company strengthens and expands its presence, Gupta and Kaul along with the other board of directors will continue to guide it to achieve profitable growth and provide surgeons and patients globally with cost-effective and high-quality medical devices, Healthium Medtech said in a statement.

The appointments will also strengthen governance, and leverage a wealth of industry knowledge to help the company achieve its vision and strategic goals, it added.

Gupta holds a bachelor's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and a master's degree in Business Administration from Leland Stanford Junior University. He brings more than 28 years of global management consulting experience. Previously, he was a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company, Inc, the statement said.

Kaul holds a post-graduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. Previously, she was working with ANZ Grindlays Bank PLC and Deutsche Bank AG, it added.
