Three teachers among 4 killed in crash on Ferozepur-Fazilka road

Four people, three of them teachers, died and 10 were injured on Friday in a two-vehicle collision on the Ferozepur-Fazilka road, police said.
A bus collided head on with a multi-utility vehicle (MUV) coming from the Jalalabad side near Khai Pheme ki village. Fourteen occupants were in the MUV at the time of the accident, police said.
MUV driver Ashok, resident of Daroga Chakk village in Fazilka district, and three teachers -- Prince Kamboj (29), resident of Peer Mohammad village in Fazilka district, Kanchan (38), resident of Kotli in Jalalabad tehsil of Fazilka district, and Maninder Kaur, resident of Asal ke Hithar village in Jalalabad -- died in the accident, police said.
While Ashok, Kamboj and Kanchan died on the spot, Kaur succumbed to injuries later, they said.
