Russia grants Air India permission to bring in spare plane after engine problems

Russia has granted Air India permission to land a spare plane in its Far East after engine problems forced an Air India aircraft en route from New Delhi to San Francisco to divert and land there, the Rosaviatsia Federal Aviation Agency said on Tuesday.
The plane is scheduled to land at 0300 GMT on Wednesday, Rosaviatsia said.
