Borrell: EU to reach 52% of 1 million shell target for Ukraine by March

The European Union expects to reach 52% of its target to send one million rounds of shells to Ukraine by March this year, according to the latest production data compiled by the Commision, the bloc's foreign policy chief said on Wednesday.

Speaking after an EU ministers' meeting in Brussels, Josep Borrell also said EU countries plan to train another 20,000 Ukrainian soldiers, on top of 40,000 already trained.
