Sealmatic India Bags Rs 15 Crore Order for Mongol Refinery Project

Sealmatic India Ltd has secured a prestigious Rs 15 crore order from Kirloskar Ebara Pumps Pvt Ltd for the Mongol Refinery project. The order, which includes 247 mechanical seals and 187 API 682 Plans, marks a significant achievement for Sealmatic. The project underscores the company's technical prowess and commitment to large-scale ventures.

In a landmark achievement, Sealmatic India Ltd (BSE: 543782) has secured a Rs 15 crore order for delivering mechanical seals and supply systems from Kirloskar Ebara Pumps Pvt Ltd for the Mongol Refinery project. This significant contract, facilitated through Engineers India Ltd, marks a pivotal moment in Sealmatic’s history.

The project mandate involves supplying 247 mechanical seals and 187 API 682 Plans, including an unprecedented quantity of specific plans such as 52, 53B, 21, and 23. This volume is the largest ever supplied by any company for a refinery project, according to Sealmatic’s Managing Director, Umar AK Balwa.

Situated near Mongolia's capital, Ulaanbaatar, the Mongol Refinery is being developed under extreme conditions and aims to produce 1.5 million tonnes of crude oil annually. This will significantly enhance Mongolia's energy independence and economic stability, reducing reliance on Russian oil imports.
