A tragic incident unfolded early Monday on the Purvanchal Expressway in Musepur village, where a bus rammed into a stationary truck, resulting in four fatalities and 32 injuries, police reported.

Superintendent of Police Omvir Singh confirmed that the bus was heading to Bihar’s Bhojpur district from Ayodhya when the collision occurred. The deceased include the bus driver Ramnivas (45), Kamala Devi (65), Vinod Singh (38), and Sunita Singh (48).

Currently, 32 injured passengers have been admitted to hospitals in Ghazipur and Mau, while the bodies of the deceased have been sent for postmortem examinations.
