Air India Embarks on Digital Transformation with IBS Software's iCargo Solution

Air India has partnered with IBS Software to implement its integrated iCargo solution for a comprehensive digital transformation of its cargo operations. This will allow Air India to streamline its processes, enhance decision-making capabilities, and meet the government's ambitious target of handling 10-million tonnes of air cargo by 2030.

In a landmark move, Air India announced on Tuesday that it has chosen IBS Software's integrated iCargo solution for a complete digital overhaul of its cargo operations.

The iCargo solution will enable Air India to integrate various cargo activities, from sales to billing, into a single platform. This digital initiative aims to streamline processes and improve decision-making capabilities, according to an official statement by Air India.

Set for a complete rollout within nine months, the first phase of iCargo implementation will introduce significant improvements. This partnership aligns with Air India's wider digital transformation efforts across its passenger services, fleet, and cargo departments, supporting the Indian government's target of handling 10-million tonnes of air cargo annually by 2030.
