Gurugram, Haryana, India - On June 28, 2024, BMW Group India reported robust growth in the luxury electric mobility segment, achieving a significant milestone by selling over 2,000 electric units. The BMW iX has emerged as the largest-selling luxury electric car in India, bolstering the company's market leadership.
From January to June 2024, BMW Group India delivered 7,098 cars (both BMW and MINI) and 3,614 motorcycles, witnessing a 21% increase in car sales. This surge is attributed to the high demand for luxury sports activity vehicles and electric cars, with the BMW Luxury Class (BMW 7 Series, BMW i7, BMW X7, and BMW XM) experiencing 17% growth.
