India Eyes Global Dominance in Toy Manufacturing
Government officials and industry leaders will meet on July 8 to discuss ways to enhance domestic toy manufacturing and exports. The meeting, organized by Invest India with Toy Association of India, will explore growth opportunities, regulatory developments, and the potential of making India a global toy hub.

Government officials and industry leaders are scheduled to hold a comprehensive discussion on strategies to bolster domestic toy manufacturing and exports on July 8. This crucial meeting, organized by Invest India in conjunction with the Toy Association of India, aims to address evolving opportunities and regulatory advancements within the toy sector.
Senior Vice-President of the Toy Association of India, Naresh Kumar Gautam, emphasized the government's proactive measures to stimulate sector growth. An international fair showcasing domestic products, set to run from July 6-9 at Pragati Maidan, will feature over 150 foreign buyers from 35 countries. Simultaneously, more than 400 domestic toy manufacturers will present their innovative offerings.
Highlighting the sector's labor-intensive nature, Gautam noted that women constitute approximately 70% of the workforce. He also mentioned the construction of India's largest toy cluster in Noida, aimed at integrating local manufacturers into the global supply chain and further expanding toy production capabilities.
