A tragic accident in Rajasthan's Jhalawar district resulted in the death of a nine-year-old girl and injuries to 38 other passengers following a head-on collision between a state roadways bus and a truck. The incident occurred around 4.45 pm on Friday, according to local police.
Circle Inspector Satyanarayan Malav from Khanpur police station reported that the bus was coming from Jhalawar when the crash occurred. The injured passengers have been admitted to a local hospital, with ten critically injured individuals referred to Jhalawar Medical College Hospital for further treatment.
The deceased was identified as Varsha Aerwal from Baran city. Both drivers involved in the accident fled the scene, and an investigation is underway.
