Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein presented a Rs 993.08-crore deficit budget for 2024-25 on Wednesday, emphasizing key areas such as infrastructure and urban development.
Holding the portfolios of Finance, Planning, and Investment, Mein highlighted that the budget estimate stands at Rs 35,840.79 crore, a substantial 20.85 percent increase over the previous year.
Mein articulated the administration's vision, committed to meeting the aspirations of the state's youth, women, and farmers. He said the government aims to ensure no developmental gaps remain by the end of their third term, inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Viksit Bharat, Viksit Arunachal' vision.
