Eco Recycling Ltd (Ecoreco) has lauded the government's recent initiatives aimed at recycling valuable resources and the establishment of a 'Critical Mineral Mission', considering these crucial for sustainable development and India's strategic goals.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, in her budget speech, underscored the significance of recycling, announcing the creation of a Critical Mineral Mission to boost domestic production and recycling of critical minerals. The mission will focus on technology development, skilled workforce creation, extended producer responsibility framework, and financing mechanisms. Additionally, she proposed customs duty exemptions on 25 critical minerals and reductions on two others to enhance their processing and availability.

Notably, Ecoreco and its Mobile App BookMyJunk were recognized by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The company serves several global brands by providing e-waste recycling services and EPR credits.
