Hindustan Zinc Ltd Posts 19.3% Profit Surge in Q1 FY25
Vedanta group firm Hindustan Zinc Ltd reported a 19.3% increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 2,345 crore for the June quarter of FY25, compared to Rs 1,964 crore in the same period last year. The company's income also saw a rise to Rs 8,398 crore from Rs 7,564 crore. Hindustan Zinc remains a major player in the global zinc and silver markets.
Vedanta group firm Hindustan Zinc Ltd (HZL) reported a notable 19.3% rise in consolidated net profit for the June quarter of FY25, reaching Rs 2,345 crore. This compares to a net profit of Rs 1,964 crore in the same period last year.
In its BSE filing, the company announced an income increase to Rs 8,398 crore, up from Rs 7,564 crore in the year-ago period. Hindustan Zinc holds a prominent position as the world's second-largest integrated zinc producer and the third-largest silver producer.
With operations in over 40 countries, Hindustan Zinc commands approximately 75% of India's primary zinc market share, further solidifying its market dominance.
