BIMSTEC Business Summit Highlights India's Strategic Regional Importance

Hosted by the Ministry of External Affairs and the Confederation of Indian Industries, the summit, running from August 6-8, underscores the regional collaboration between South and Southeast Asian nations.

Margherita pointed to India's decade of strong growth, fiscal prudence, and digital innovation, emphasizing the focus areas of capacity building, economic cooperation, and connectivity for the BIMSTEC region, which accounts for 25% of the world's population.
