Special Flights Repatriate Over 400 People Amid Bangladesh Unrest

In response to the volatile situation in Bangladesh's capital, Air India and IndiGo operated special flights to evacuate more than 400 individuals. Air India's flight brought 205 people, including six infants, from Dhaka to New Delhi on Wednesday morning.
IndiGo's special flight, also from Dhaka, landed in Kolkata on Tuesday, carrying more than 200 passengers. The service was initiated after the temporary closure of Dhaka airport, according to a statement from the airline.
Both airlines faced numerous challenges, including infrastructure issues at the departure airport. However, normal flight operations between India and Dhaka are expected to resume on Wednesday, with Air India, Vistara, and IndiGo all reinstating their scheduled services.
