In a significant development, Power & Instrumentation (Gujarat) Limited (NSE - PIGL, BSE - 543912), a key player in the electrical contracting and equipment industry, has been awarded contracts worth Rs 28.41 Cr under the Mukhyamantri Ujjawal Jharkhand Yojana (MUJY). These contracts aim to electrify un-electrified and partially electrified habitations and households in the Sahibganj District of Jharkhand.
According to the details, Contract Part I involves the loading, transportation, installation, and commissioning of infrastructure to ensure reliable electricity supply to both rural and urban areas. This portion is valued at Rs 22.92 Cr. Contract Part II includes a comprehensive range of activities such as site surveys, planning, engineering, and material supply, with a total value of Rs 5.49 Cr.
