Embassy REIT Leases Prime Office Space to Commonwealth Bank of Australia
Embassy Office Parks REIT has signed a lease agreement to provide 800,000 sq. ft. of prime office space to the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA), with a potential expansion by 600,000 sq. ft. at its 'Embassy Manyata' project in Bengaluru. The agreement includes the development of a built-to-suit solution expected to be delivered by Q4 2026.

Embassy Office Parks REIT has entered into a landmark lease agreement to provide 800,000 square feet of premier office space in Bengaluru to the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA). The agreement includes an expansion option for an additional 600,000 square feet.
In a recent regulatory filing, Embassy REIT announced that the agreement involves leasing prime office space in its 'Embassy Manyata' project, one of Asia’s largest business parks. "Embassy has been home to CBA for four years, and we are excited to extend our partnership with a leading financial institution," stated Jitu Virwani, Chairman and Managing Director of Embassy Group.
The built-to-suit solution is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2026. Aravind Maiya, CEO of Embassy REIT, highlighted that this deal marks its largest built-to-suit project to date. Embassy REIT's extensive portfolio includes 51 million square feet across major Indian cities, emphasizing its role as a prominent player in the real estate sector.
