Lobb Surges Ahead in Digital Freight Brokerage, Eyes 500 Crores Revenue

Lobb has rapidly become the fastest-growing digital freight brokerage in India, connecting truckers and transporters nationwide. Their clientele includes top logistics brands, and they currently work with 1,200 logistics companies and over 5,000 fleet owners managing more than 30,000 trucks. The company's ambitious target for the next two years is to expand their fleet to 200,000 trucks, aiming to serve clients across all locations.
Operating in 22 cities through an asset-light model, Lobb has grown tenfold to reach a 170 Crore annual revenue rate over the past three years, leveraging the digital economy and the Make in India movement. Funds raised will be used to scale the business and expand Lobb's network into new geographies. Lobb plans to enhance its technology capabilities by incorporating GenAI, machine learning, and Big Data. It has already partnered with HPCL for fuel and Axis Bank for FASTag integration, with features like annual insurance renewal and GPS navigation in the works.
With a vision for long-term sustainability, Lobb is currently profitable and is on track to achieve 500 crores in revenue in the next two years. The company has raised $4.4 million to date, including a recent tranche of $2.9 million, to accelerate its growth in the Indian logistics sector. Lobb aims to expand aggressively into over 50 geographies and cover 500+ high-density routes. CEO Venu Kondur emphasizes the importance of leveraging the growing opportunities, technological advancements, and expanding infrastructure in the logistics space.
