In a significant move to boost the Indian sports ecosystem, GoSports Foundation has partnered with Rainmatter, a venture fund by Zerodha. This collaboration aims to enhance systems and leadership development, driving the mission of sports excellence in India.
This partnership enables GoSports to focus on organizational effectiveness and sustainable sports projects. Deepthi Bopaiah, CEO of GoSports Foundation, expressed delight over the collaboration, emphasizing its role in reinforcing the importance of sports in nation-building.
Founder of Zerodha and Rainmatter, Nithin Kamath, highlighted the need for structured planning to develop world-class athletes. Rainmatter's backing will bolster GoSports Foundation's mission, supported by CSR initiatives from companies like Aditya Birla Capital and Infosys Foundation.
Since its inception in 2008, GoSports Foundation has nurtured over 200 athletes, including 29 Olympians and 35 Paralympians. Rainmatter's expertise aims to drive this legacy further, promoting a fitter and more inclusive India.
