Lufthansa Extends Flight Suspensions Amid Middle East Conflict
Lufthansa Group has extended the suspension of flights to Tel Aviv, Beirut, and Tehran due to escalating conflict in the Middle East. Flights to Tel Aviv will remain suspended until October 31, while flights to Beirut and Tehran will be suspended until November 30 and October 14, respectively.

Lufthansa Group announced on Tuesday that it is extending the suspension of flights to and from Tel Aviv, Beirut, and Tehran amid intensifying conflict in the Middle East.
The suspension will last until October 31 for Tel Aviv, and November 30 and October 14 for Beirut and Tehran, respectively.
In a statement, Lufthansa Group, which includes Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, and Eurowings, mentioned that the decision comes in light of the escalating armed conflict. Israel also reported intense fighting with Hezbollah in south Lebanon, involving its paratroopers, commandos, and armored units.
